Tom Sawyer is The Endurance NT – a BANT Registered Nutritionist and a CNHC Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. He has completed numerous long distance triathlons, ultramarathons and open water swims. He is passionate about the power of nutrition to improve health, well-being and performance.

More about me
I started running in my early 20s and took up triathlon a little later, completing the London Triathlon in 2008 in an effort to get fit after gaining a bit of weight and losing a lot of fitness through a busy work and social life in London. I dipped in and out of triathlon for the following 10 year, then as I started approaching 40 I decided to increase my efforts and tackle an Ironman. Through 2 years of focused training for this event (Outlaw 2019 – the one where the road flooded!) I developeded more of a performance mindset and started really trying to improve my times. Since then, I have focused my own training more on swimming and running and managed to improve both considerably, culminating in representing Great Britain in Aquathlon at the European Multisport Championships in 2023.
Changing what, when and how I ate has had a big impact on my own health, wellbeing and performance, and nutrition has become my other main passion, alongside sport. In 2020 I undertook a Masters in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Worcester.
Now, as a fully qualified and registered Nutritional Therapist I combine my love for endurance sport with my passion for food as the foundation for health, wellbeing and peak performance.
